Many years ago we realised that it is just not feasible to carry every combination of crossover that a customer might require at short notice. So instead we have focused our efforts on being able to react and fabricate crossovers quickly to our customers’ requirements.
With our just-in-time delivery, Kampen Machinefabriek supplies brand new crossovers fabricated from a single piece (not two half crossovers welded together) machined precisely to our customers’ specifications. Our lead times are short, we can delivery in the same day if necessary.
To assist the customer in choosing the right crossover for their needs, we have invested a considerable amount of time and energy in creating our online “Crossover Designer”. Here you can design your own crossover by choosing the connections and the length of the tool.
Standard crossovers for HDD
Our standard crossovers for HDD are machined from 42Cr Steel. This is a quality carbon steel which a high tensile strength, ideal for most HDD drilling applications. With our background in oil and gas tooling production, Kampen Machinefabriek is also able to offer crossovers fabricated from other high tensile carbon steels. We keep stock of several types of steel suitable for downhole tools including 4145 and 4130, which are two common steels used in oil and gas for crossover fabrication.
All crossovers manufactured by Kampen Machinefabriek can be supplied with mill certificates for the material used in fabrication of our crossovers.
All our API gauges are inspected and certified and we have full ISO 9001 2015 certification.
